Hello Notations 21 composers, contributors and friends! Displayed here you will see the Notations 21 cover as designed by our publisher, Mark Batty Publisher, which plans to release the first run of volumes in June through September. Notations 21 will have national and international distribution by the famous Thames & Hudson, and is already available for pre-order on amazon.com. The book will be released as a quality, hard-cover edition with full color glossy paper, representing the work of approximately 160 composers from around the world. All of you who contributed to this monumental collection will receive a complementary copy from Mark Batty Publisher, as well as a discount on all further copies purchased. There will be an exhibition of the Notations 21 scores at the Chelsea Art Museum in October, as well as a concert series. There will be three concerts held at the Chelsea Art Museum in New York City on October 4, October 11, and October 18 with performances by many of the contributing composers. Applications for grants are underway in order to participate in the Streaming Museum, a worldwide media event in which images from the Notations 21 collection will be broadcast on public screens and personal electronic devices around the globe.
